Question:

I have someone who is bruised, but not necessarily because he hit something, and some are big bruises around his legs.

He just has bruises showing up.  Any thoughts on what this might be?

Answer:

When considering a sudden, acute onset of large unexplained bruises, medical statistical prevalence points to Medication Side Effects as the single most likely cause among the list provided.  Most likely cause are one of these Anticoagulants (“Blood Thinners”) Examples: Apixaban (Eliquis), Rivaroxaban (Xarelto), Warfarin (Coumadin), Dabigatran (Pradaxa), Enoxaparin (Lovenox). Has he only recently started one of these medications?

If medications are ruled out, the most likely underlying disorder presenting as a sudden crop of new bruises is Thrombocytopenia (Low Platelets).

(Rife Program) Thrombocytopenia: 0.02, 0.4, 0.9, 20, 53, 92.5, 222.7, 475.11, 527, 987.23

Also consider adding these vitamins:   Folate (Vitamin B9): Leafy greens (spinach, kale), lentils, beans, and oranges support overall blood cell synthesis.Vitamin B12: Essential for normal bone marrow function. Found in eggs, meat, fish, dairy, or fortified plant milks/cereals.   Iron & Vitamin C: Iron supports blood cell production, while Vitamin C helps the body absorb iron and protects cell health. Citrus fruits, bell peppers, lean meats, and legumes are good choices.   Vitamin K: Found in green leafy vegetables, Vitamin K does not raise platelet counts directly but is vital for normal blood clotting mechanisms.
