Question: I just received my mat and I am wondering the best position for the mat when I am treating Torticollis. I prefer to use the machine at night while sleeping and find the foot straps very cumbersome.
Answer: Trauma to the neck or spine can lead to torticollis. Injuries to the cervical spine or neck muscles often result in spasm of the muscles, leading to the twisting of the head, characteristic of torticollis. Other causes include infection of the head or neck.
As Per Page 13 of the Mat/Belt book, place the Belt around the neck as shown below.
Note, only the Belt is the correct size for this treatment
As the feet are quite far away from this treatment location, the foot straps do not deliver the frequencies as efficiently or effectively as would the Belt directly over the problem area.
Torticollis: 0.35, 0.75, 1.72, 15.29, 113.25, 245.91, 323.2, 452, 525.52, 779.5
