To use the Multimeter you want one that has a Hz setting.
You would put that to the Hz setting.
Have the leads connected to the machine;
The machine turned on to a frequency using the Run command
Then make sure the output light is on;
Then put the positive probe on the positive strap lead and the negative on the negative strap lead, not the straps just the leads.
The frequency you have on the machine display should be the same or really, really close to what shows up on the Multi-meter.
If you want to test the mat or the belt, put the positive probe on the positive, conductive side of the mat/belt and the negative probe on the negative side of the mat/belt.
