Question Can I just cut any excess strap? I have small hands and there is a lot of extra strap. Answer: Re: Subject: Cutting Flex or Velcro to fit hands Cutting the ends will not affect the performance of the FLEX, as the conduction is at the silver plate and the inner circumference of the strap only, the excess strap at the end can be cut. Another customer comments on this subject advised to use a sewing machine or needle and cotton, to selvage (finish) the cut fabric to prevent fraying. We use only a XXL size on flex and Velcro to accommodate big feet, so be free to cut to size for hands
