RSV stands for Respiratory Syncytial Virus. It’s a very common virus that infects the respiratory tract, causing mild, cold-like symptoms in most adults and older children. However, it can be more serious in infants, young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.

On Rife Digital Professional V3 (RDPV3) use this set from the ETDFL book

Respiratory Syncytial Virus [orthopneumovirus]:

RSV can cause bronchiolitis (inflammation of the small airways in the lungs) and pneumonia in young children, especially those younger than 1 year old. Symptoms can include coughing, wheezing, fever, and difficulty breathing.

Most people recover from RSV with self-care measures (like rest, fluids, and fever control), but some cases may require hospitalization, especially in infants or people with underlying health conditions.

Prevention includes frequent handwashing, avoiding close contact with sick people, and keeping surfaces clean. There’s also a preventive medication called palivizumab available for certain high-risk infants.

RDPV3 for the treatment of RSV:  Wear straps on the feet and overnight treatments are the recommended course of action
