Question On your literature, you state that the Ultra Digital unit is a 4.5 amp, 16 volt device. Does this mean that the source draw of the power supply is 4.5 amps, or do the outputs really drive 4.5 amps into the user at 16 volts? That is the impression you create. From my experience, the resistance of a human body from hand to foot is roughly 100,000 ohms, but it can be as much as 1 million ohms. If your outputs are fixed at 16 volts, this means 16 volts divided by 100,000, or about 160 milliamps. Nowhere near 4.5 amps. If your outputs do drive 4.5 amps into the user at 16 volts, then the body resistance would have to drop to 3.5 ohms. This is simply not possible. Answer: The Power adapter is around 4 amps which is excellent for 2 reasons (1) Higher amperage power adapters generally last much longer than the cheaper 1 amp versions. 4+ Amp power adapters are usually used for heavy duty applications, such as running Laptops, Notepads etc, So therefore the components are the highest quality. When used with a Rife Device, this ensures the customer many years of use. Our research shows us, that any appliance on the planet which uses DC (power adapter) power is likely to break down initially due to power supply failure. It is important that all our products are long lasting, so we choose to use the best quality, and higher Amperage Power Adapter product. (2) The amount of Amps used is dependent upon the resistance across the “wires”. This can be different from person to person. It is true that a person would not use 4 amp, Certain factors such as conductivity, body size and weight would factor in. For example if you were to attach a “Notebook” (Laptop) to the power adapter, the AMPs used would increase significantly, because the Laptop draws far more energy than a Rife Machine (to power hard drive, LCD screen etc) The only resistance you would have with the Rife Machine, would be when people are holding the straps, the power supply would switch to a higher amperage output at this stage.. If the straps were not held (no resistance), and you were simply powering the Rife Machine without a person attached, it would draw only little Amperage. It is necessary to advertise online; the type of power adapter used, and the picture, including the specifications. People need to know this information, that they are buying a top quality adapter with the machine. It also advises people who may have lost the power adapter, the specifications used for this particular machine, should they wish to independently source a power adapter from eBay or other retailer.
