The adapter is rated 16volts The machine consumes 1-2 volts for the backlit display and other functions, and also the type of output generated (supersweep, or normal programs) can affect voltage range by about >1 volt. So true voltage can be between 14 – 15.5 at any given time. Voltage should be measured only using a professional Oscilloscope, as cheaper multimeters will only detect “one side of the frequency wave” and give an incorrect result.
