Question:
I have Myotonic Dystrophy and I’d like to treat with a low frequency treatment device. Myotonic dystrophy is autosomal dominant inheritance, the main symptoms are muscle ankylosis (muscle tone) and muscular dystrophy (muscle weakness), due to abnormality of chromosome 19 DMPK. Muscular dystrophies are classified roughly but there are more than 10 types. Every one, cause gene and symptoms are different.
Answer:
Muscular dystrophy (MD) refers to a group of nine genetic diseases that cause progressive weakness and degeneration of muscles used during voluntary movement.
Myotonic dystrophy (DM) is one of the muscular dystrophies. It is the most common form seen in adults and is suspected to be among the most common forms overall. Therefore as being classified as one of the muscular dystrophies, the client can use the main set for this treatment:
Muscular dystrophy, 0.13, 0.40, 0.60, 0.83, 5.87, 47.25, 142.50, 357.52, 702.51, 882.11
Use MAT or Belt over areas which are particularly problematic, in conjunction with using straps on feet – if you want both the mat and belt the Super Mat Pack is the best deal. Long term treatment here – you can sleep with the machine and we suggest that. The more you can use it the better and faster will be the results.
