Mycobacterium Chelonae is referenced to Mycobacterium abscessus, a subspecies but carries identical characteristics of Mycobacterium Chelonae. M. abscessus can cause chronic lung disease, post-traumatic wound infections, and disseminated cutaneous diseases, mostly in patients with suppressed immune systems. The distinguishing characteristic of all Mycobacterium species is that the cell wall is thicker than in many other bacteria, The cell wall makes a substantial contribution to the hardiness of this genus. The prefix myco- means “fungus,” alluding to the way mycobacteria have been observed to grow in a mold-like fashion on the surface of liquids when cultured. There are 2 sets which should be used. The bacteria & mycoses set has specific (myco) Fungus frequencies at the lower range which are specific to Mycobacterium abscessus. A total of the first 3 frequencies in the Bacteria & mycoses set (0.05, 0.37, 0.83), however there is no problem with programming the entire set into a Group on the PRO series: (1) Bacterial Infections and Mycoses: 0.05, 0.37, 0.83, 2.50, 3.00, 73.30, 95.75, 175.00, 269.71, 355.08 Mycobacterium Chelonae cells are Gram-positive, nonmotile, acid-fast rods Program Set 2, Entire Set, and Gram (+) is the main set for treatment (2) Bacterial Infections, Gram (+): 0.15, 0.92, 2.75, 13.22, 163.00, 275.29, 307.25, 435.37, 587.50, 795.52 Overnight treatments required. Usually within 1-2 weeks there will significant improvement to health. If immune system is already depressed then Rife treatments may take longer.
