Question: I got the Kidney cleanse and it says to boil the Tea and use it for 13 days, it is a 21 day cleanse I don’t understand. Also what is the Goldenrod Tincture for it says optional? Answer: The tea gets boiled twice, the first round use for 13 days. The 2nd boiling you use a little less water – so you are going to get a little less and it’s not going to last 13 days, so you are going to get another 7 or 8 days out of it and now you are at 21. The Goldenrod Tincture is optional but does have some medicinal value to it: Topical preparations of Goldenrod (Solidago Canadensis) have been used for centuries by traditional practitioners to treat inflammation of the mouth and throat as well as the discomfort of slow-healing wounds. The name solidago means “to make whole.” Today, Goldenrod is primarily used as an aquaretic agent, meaning that it promotes the loss of water from the body (as compared to a diuretic, which promotes the loss of both water and electrolytes such as salt).
