Keep in mind, If you have the V2 or the V3 machine you will drop the voltage to 12.5v when using it in direct contact with the skin, and 17v if you are going to use a thin t-shirt, thin pajamas, thin fitted sheet, or whatever, between your skin and the mat or belt.  If you have a Trio model you will need to use a thin piece of material as the Trio has no voltage adjustment.

When using the straps, use them on the balls of the feet or the fleshy part of the palm by the thumb or little finger.  17v, if you have any sensitivity to that then drop the voltage on the V2 or V3 machine.  With the Trio you can place a thin piece of Kleenex or thin socks, etc. between you and the straps.
