Question: I have a friend who is trying to treat for Vertigo. The Herxheimer reaction is a problem for her. She has tried going really really slow. Just using one treatment and dividing it up in the day. She’s tried it at night, lying down on the pad. She has tried taking a few days off and then restarting slowly, but every time she uses it, even for just half an hour she already gets the dizziness The reaction is strong and keeps on even after all these attempts over a several week period. Answer: This is what the manufacturer said: Can I ask if the she has used the machine on the lower setting 12.5v.?? Has there been an issue at 12.5v? The problems appear to be a herxheimer reaction to the frequencies, there is a detox occurring at all and every frequency. Usually our advice here is to use the machine for only 1 hour at 12.5v and build it from there but, if she needs to start with less time she can. ———— This is my thought. Have her drop the voltage to 12.5v, and use the machine on the Pulse SWEEP function for 10min., or less if necessary and build up from there. The Pulse SWEEP will stay on each frequency one second at a time. So, if she spends 10min., with the frequency set she will get all 10 frequencies delivered for 10min. She can start with 5 min. even, we are just trying to get the body able to process the detox and start getting at the cause of the issue. ———— But I do think this is working for her, or there would be no reaction at all. Some people really don’t notice a Herx reaction, but when you do you know you have landed on something that seems to be working. Make sure she drinks her water to help with the detox.
