Question:

I have one question about the frequency.

I noticed in the manual there are two settings.

One for glioblastoma and another for glioblastoma multiforme.

My husband’s surgeon said they are the same thing but there are two different frequency sets.

Can you let me know why there are two and if there is a difference?

Which should we use?

His surgery mentioned to me many moons ago that it was glioblastoma Multiforme.

Answer:

Glioblastoma is the correct 2022 frequency set and this is why there are 3 variations listed

Glioblastoma: 0.08, 0.35, 0.6, 0.8, 212.03, 305.21, 434.24, 565.61, 690, 826.32

Glioblastoma Multiforme is the old terminology that was used 10 years ago.  Now the term is Glioblastoma

Glioblastoma Multiforme is a CAFL 2006 set that was left in the current frequency list, as many customers are still using the older set.

So you can use both and alternate.
