There are some customers who are still using the older versions of ETDFL.  Some customers even use CAFL 2006 List.

2023 ETDFL Frequency List only corrects errors found in the earlier version(s)

The most significant error in older editions is a medical condition listed under multiple different names, all having different frequency lists.

Customers were emailing 2, or 3 times a week because Disease X was different to an exact same disease listed under a different name elsewhere.

This no longer occurs in 2023.  Every occurrence of the exact same disease under whatever name elsewhere contains the exact same, correct 10 frequencies.

2023 Did not update frequencies, rather it resolved the issues of identical diseases with different frequency listings.

If a customer wants to use an older ETDFL, they should check for duplicates

Example:

Brain Hemorrhage [Cerebral]: 0.06, 0.23, 0.97, 7, 175.2, 212.96, 321.51, 471.21, 647.07, 815.56

also listed under

Cerebral Hemorrhage : 0.06, 0.23, 0.97, 7, 175.2, 212.96, 321.51, 471.21, 647.07, 815.56

also listed under

Cerebral Parenchymal Hemorrhage: 0.06, 0.23, 0.97, 7, 175.2, 212.96, 321.51, 471.21, 647.07, 815.56

also listed under

1561: Hemorrhage, Cerebral: 0.06, 0.23, 0.97, 7, 175.2, 212.96, 321.51, 471.21, 647.07, 815.56

Previous ETDFL editions had different sets on some of the above, due to errors of the copy-writer, due to mixing of older CAFL sets with newer ones,  due to Lack of understanding of Latin Medical names with English disease names.

Yes it is ok to use older editions,

but be aware of  the “duplicate errors” on those editions (different sets for the same disease)
