Infarction or Ischemic Stroke

Infarction or Ischemic stroke are the same medical term for a stroke caused by a blockage in a blood vessel in the brain. This is the most common type of stroke. A cerebral infarction occurs as a result of disrupted blood flow to the brain due to problems with the blood vessels that supply it.

A lack of adequate blood supply to brain cells deprives them of oxygen and vital nutrients which can cause parts of the brain to die off.  Transient ischemic attack (TIA) or ” Infarction or Ischemic stroke ” is caused by a disruption in the blood supply to part of the brain. The disruption in blood supply results in a lack of oxygen to the brain.

Use frequency set:

Ischemic Attack, Transient: 0.14, 0.22, 0.73, 5.29, 7.25, 50, 326.57, 334.25, 425, 805.29
