Question: Have a patient that had Intraocular lenses in both eyes from cataract surgery. They are metal rings in her eyes. She cannot have MRI’s because of them. Will the Rife give an issue with these? Is there any magnetic impulses involved with using the Rife for these? She is a little concerned about doing it because of these. Answer: Polymethylmethacrylate is the material composition of intraocular lenses. Polymethylmethacrylate is an acrylic glass, not metallic. Being an inert, and non conductive, non corrosive material, the rife frequencies will not have an impact or contraindications with Polymethylmethacrylate intraocular lenses.
